Already known for his lighting skills, Steve has gained respect for his ability to manage multi-camera shoots in all formats. Today, he is finding a new focus on "large" sensor HD formats. Recent Sony F55 and FS7 4K projects have included Fox Sports, NFL Network, Direct TV and Yahoo Sports.
Though Steve is based in the Midwest, projects have taken him to every state in America. Some of the international locations have inlcuded: China (Best Buy), Netherlands (Pfizer), Spain (Honeywell), and Norway (Olympics).
Meeting the demands of change and technology innovation, Steve has always been at the forefront of the production world. After graduating from film school at Southern Illinois University, he has held positions in news, documentaries and high-end commercials. A wide variety of production work has helped Steve develop the skills he has today. Whether it's updating his skills at a Maine Photo Workshop or attending seminars on HD from Sony and Panasonic, Steve has always looked to expand what he has to offer clients. That is how he brings a 'value added' position to projects and remains one of the leading DP's in the marketplace.
